Hey I tried to bring it down! I think the studio is going to shave its balls and neuter it.
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.

I've definitely heard worse audience recordings.
There is a lot of mid-highs gone but the meat is there.
Lots of meaty ear-boners.

So no soundcheck song tonight (according to @PearlJam's song feed). As cool as that might have been, I like the mystery for now.

I was holding out to see if they played the new song(s) tonight. They didn't. So can I get a PM?! (said like a preacher asking for an "amen")

I guess we can expect now that they'll use soundcheck opportunities to practice new songs, even if they don't play them. It's a good way of rehearsing stuff without having an organised rehearsal. I'm kind of wondering whether that shitty clip of the song was leaked deliberately now. And I'm wondering whether there will be more of them. And I'm wondering whether they could be the equivalent of the Verison clips we had for Backspacer.

It's a real shame they didn't play this.

With Wrigley coming up, I imagine they won't be soundchecking any new songs (besides MYM) since anyone standing on Waveland could hear and record. I wonder if they rented a studio or practice space to rehearse while in Chicago?

Someone said they didn't so much "play" London Calling as Ed just repeated "London calling!" a few times over the intro of Corduroy. I don't know how true this is though...

Where are people hearing vocals? At 0.18 ish ? I'm hearing something but not sure whether it's singing. This sounds fairly cinematic, any chance it could be the song for 'Out of the furnace?' or is that strictly an Ed thing i wonder.

You can catch a little of the melody here and there.

Yeah I hear the vocals all through out. Can't make out any of the lyrics though....it's like listening to the studio version of Yellowledbetter for the first time. lol But they do sound rather cinematic and emotive, good choice of a descriptive word there with cinematic btw.
