You mean in addition to the fact he still owns and runs his business holdings? Or that the State Department ran ads for his private luxury golf club? Or that one of his senior advisor was doing impromtu ads for his daughter's (who is also on his White House staff) clothing line? Or how his son-in-law's sister is selling US visas to Chinamen for half-a-million bucks a pop? Or the simple fact that he, personally, will make billions of dollars from the US government just from the Secret Service and them having to rent space in all his properties?

No one seems to care (excluding rational, thinking people) he's violating every ethics rule there is for holding the office. Why would they care about anything else he does?

Trump still has his base, although in today's polling his "strongly agree" type answers from them plummets by double digits (!!!). What he had, and does not now have, are any moderates or the otherwise apolitical goofs who really thought he might put an end to snarky politics. He only has about 1/3 of Americans, but the Republican Party cant afford to turn on that 1/3 if they want to fundraise and control the most deeply conservative districts.

If they give the firing a pass and continue to drive home this healthcare bill, then I have a prediction: in 2018, when the nation sees a double digit percentage increase in blue voters, the Republicans will claim to have uncovered evidence of mass, organized voter fraud, and call the elections invalid. After all, Anderson, how else do you explain voting patterns flying so far outside the norm and only in favor of one party?

They will then have closed investigations on the matter, and Mike Huckabee will tweet bad jokes about how Democrats were against investigations before they were for them.

stop now, because this is depressing, and a good reminder of why ive done my best in the last 6 months to deny there's a reality tv star with a bad wig in power. Honestly, theres definitely merit to your comments, i guess i just cant get past the idea the next 4 years are going to basically destroy the country in ways we cant see yet. Something that Republicans need to realize if things get worse for Trump is that they still get Mike Pence if Trump is thrown out of office. The only thing I could see that they'd fear is if Trump tries to run a third party candidacy in 2020, but the earlier they impeach him, the more distant he becomes.
