The New Girl has been renewed for a seventh & final season. It's time.

I'm thrilled by this announcement. I love that they aren't going beyond S7.

They should have stopped years ago. That one nosedived hard.

100% disagree. I just watched the last four episodes of S6 a couple of nights ago and I laughed harder than I have in a long time. S5 was outstanding. This season started slowly but quickly found traction and excelled.

Personally, I think anything more than 5 seasons for any show runs the risk of getting stale. New Girl is still the funniest show on TV. But it's time to end the thing. Seven seasons is more than enough.
