I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Okay yeah, it's the Ward one I'm thinking of. Man that Ward treatment could have been really amazing.

That version sounds batshit crazy, but I feel like the movie had most of the best elements of it.

I watched Aliens last week. It had been years since I last watched it and man it is still awesome. That movie has aged so well.

I was worried it would go down as one of those movies I enjoyed a lot as a kid but it's actually a shitty movie now that I'm an adult and jaded and what not.

I'll be honest, I think Aliens is a pretty mediocre and overrated film. I mean, I like it well enough. It's certainly not a bad movie by any stretch. But I really don't get why everyone loves it so much.

Oh yeah. It's one of my top 10 favorite movies. The best pacing and atmosphere...ever? Maybe ever.

I mean, I'm not telling you what to do. But I'd totes read your in-depth review/thoughts/breakdown of that film. Just saying.

It's a perfectly constructed thrill ride. It kind of annoys me that it's become the template for so many shitty ripoffs, but what can you do?

My understanding is that if you watch all of the promos you've pretty much had it spoiled for you.
