Just finished up listening to the Celebration Rock Podcasts's S1 episode about top 10 albums of the decade (so far). I haven't listened to a single record that was listed between the two participants. Fifteen total (they have some overlap between them) albums that are considered the best of the decade. And I haven't heard any of them. :|

i've never been able to get into LCD Soundsystem, minus a handful of songs. the members of the band do indeed seem insufferable.

i have enjoyed their latest 2 songs though.

Listening to some Our Lady Peace (the conversation about terrible 90's bands got me down a rabbit hole the other day on TPB) and wow, they are terrible.

I've got two songs - Clumsy and Superman's Dead - and that's it.

Huh. He's like the town bicycle.
In 2000, the band released Spiritual Machines, a concept album inspired by Ray Kurzweil's book The Age of Spiritual Machines. During the recording of the album, drummer Jeremy Taggart was sidelined with an ankle injury; Matt Cameron, Pearl Jam's drummer and then-former member of Soundgarden, played drums on "Right Behind You (Mafia)" and "Are You Sad?" in his place. The album featured the singles "In Repair", "Life" and "Right Behind You (Mafia)". "Life" was also featured in the soundtrack for the Canadian sports comedy film Men with Brooms. Spiritual Machines was less commercially successful than its predecessors.

Nah. Their first one was fine. I didn't really like their second one very much, so I just quit.
