Although, it's important to remember how Chaffetz (who is featured prominently in that) reacted to the Access Hollywood tape. He forcefully un-endorsed the day of only to slink back a week later to re-endorse with no good reason. Guy's not going to be a hero here. He's selfish, unpatriotic scum, as far as I can tell.

The Republicans are literally just stalling for time until they can get their health care and tax plan passed. They know that once you hit anything close to impeachment proceedings, their agenda will be dead in the water, and they waited far too long under Obama to throw an opportunity away now.
