Whenever in future my son tries to argue the Lebron/Jordan thing with me again I will happily point him to Game 3 of the 2017 Eastern Conference Finals. No way Jordan ever puts in a performance like that.

I am stunned that this series is going back to Boston.

Maybe IT will do a Willis Reed? Ha! I have to think they may be better without him. Certainly everyone else having to stand up makes for a team that's harder to defend (as compared to knowing he's gonna get it and, 50% of the time, shoot it).

Manu is a Hall of Famer in my eyes. Remember, it is a basketball Hall of Fame, not NBA Hall. His international basketball success, legacy of the Eurostep, numbers and accolades in limited minutes with the Spurs, and his style of play warrant selection.

It's tough for me. I was never a huge Manu fan and Pop's insistence to put the ball in his hands during critical times of the game always frustrated me. About 30% of the time he made a spectacular play in those moments, but the majority of the time he'd dribble it off his foot or make a bad pass.

That being said, he was fun as hell to watch most of the time. And there were lots of games where you could see that his style really lifted the team.

He wouldn't be in my personal Hall of Fame but no doubt he's getting in....the major push being his international contributions. He's the face of Argentine basketball.

This is pretty reasonable. Disregard the 13 game playoff winning streak that immediately preceded that abomination. This, probably meaningless, game is definitely much more representative of his entire career than everything else he's ever done.

At least if the Cavs make the Finals now people will know going in that it's going to be a sweep. Before game 3 far too many people were acting like it was going to be an epic series that either team could win.
