Seriously. If anything I would point to the Finals against Dallas.4/5 wrote:This is pretty reasonable. Disregard the 13 game playoff winning streak that immediately preceded that abomination. Re: NBA Thread
There will be lots of time to debate/preview the finals. My basic contention is that this Warriors team is playing at pretty much the most dominant level we've ever seen in NBA history and that they are just too good for everybody.
LeBron is one of the two best players ever regardless of what happens in that series, if that series happens.

Oh I think the warriors will win, don't get me wrong. They will get way too much credit if they do though. All this most dominant team of all time stuff is bullshit. They have had zero competition thus far. Playing a real team like the Cavs COULD look a little different. We'll see.

The numbers are pretty clear that the Warriors are one of the most dominant teams ever at this point. Part of that probably is the lack of competition (KD's major contribution), but the statement remains true. You don't have to be impressed by it or sing their praises, but their margins of victory, etc., clearly indicate dominance.

It indicates a watered down and top heavy league. I really wish it was more competitive. The east has been bad for a very long time but even the West was pretty garbage this season.4/5 wrote:I hope so.verb_to_trust wrote:Oh I think the warriors will win, don't get me wrong. I'm wondering if the Celts should take Lonzo. I feel like I'm dismissing him because of his dad. I've never even seen Fultz play.
