Well 2017 is still going to be great. Just not as great.

I wonder why they announced the release date so early. One could kind of see this delay coming.CopperTom wrote:Well 2017 is still going to be great. Just not as great.

Hahaha holy crap I can't wait for this! Thanks for the heads up. I'm already dying to know more about the story and if it's set in the present day or not. Also, I wonder if/how they'll integrate tower climbing in MT? Maybe fire towers?Monkey_Driven wrote:Is Far Cry 5 set in your backyard Trag?

I was reminded why I stopped supporting GameStop all of those years ago. Grrrr.

So it's kinda the now-or-never time for purchasing WiiU games. Any lesser known must own games I should buy before all things WiiU go extinct?

Re: The all inclusive video game thread
I bought a game off the website that was listed as new and I received an opened, handled game. Maybe it was a display. That shit pisses me off when they try that shit in store, but they also pull that crap with online orders now? Fuck. I always buy new and by new I mean sealed and untouched. Such a fucking nuisance.tragabigzanda wrote:What happened CT?

I got a clearly used dash cam in the mail a few weeks ago. Like, it looked to be in fairly rough shape as soon as I opened it. I feel your pain.CopperTom wrote:I bought a game off the website that was listed as new and I received an opened, handled game. Maybe it was a display. I'd be ok if they dropped the tower climb mechanic this time around. Probably my least favorite thing about this series. Platforming in 1st person is rarely fun.tragabigzanda wrote:Hahaha holy crap I can't wait for this! Thanks for the heads up. I enjoyed the towers for the first 3/4 or so of Far Cry 4. Then I just started flying over with the helibike and parachuting down.mf wrote:I'd be ok if they dropped the tower climb mechanic this time around. This promo image from Far Cry 5 makes me think there might be some sort of militia element:mf wrote:haha yeah once i figured that out i could just land the helibike on the roof of most of the buildings i just stopped climbing entirely.tragabigzanda wrote:I enjoyed the towers for the first 3/4 or so of Far Cry 4. Never played a Far Cry game but it looks like you get to take down a religious cult, which has me very intrigued.

I loved 2 but have hated every other one. I have no doubt this will be terrible as well.

Whatever Burt. This game looks to be about killing religious gun-owning zealots in my backyard, AND they look like hipsters. IN.

I can't wait for this. Out in February.

OMG this game sounds awesome. I'm most excited for the new canine companion mechanic.tragabigzanda wrote:New Far Cry 5 trailer with actual gameplay footage (mostly cutscenes, but a little action):
