no, the guy either heard or woke up his dog crying out in pain and what sounded like some kind of fight. he found the raccoon attacking his dog. he grabbed the raccoon and threw it. if you click the word here, it shows the whole thing

Oh, OK. I can see it's a racoon now but I just thought someone was throwing some pet cat down the stairs. Still, I just don't like people throwing animals down the stairs.
