TMZ tends to be rather reputable even if it's a garbage website.

I don't see why EV is instrumental so much in Chris's life that he is a vital piece of the funeral.

There will be people there - its not like nobody is showing up and Eddie is the only person who could speak.

I kind of figured a funeral was supposed to give peace to the grievers, including Eddie - if he feels he would be better served not going than going, and grieving privately, it doesn't make much sense to go. Who knows, maybe he's angry that Chris committe suicide and left his daughters, who knows. Or maybe he's just sad and doesn't think he can handle it.

I would understand if this was literally Chris's brother no-showing but its not.

He is not. But Chris' children asked for him.

Ok Im reading the mother in law's reaction now and oh my god this is awful and not appropriate at all. She is being a massive jerk and I don't even believe she's telling the truth about the kids being devastated by Eddie. They have a whole family there to support them how close can Eddie be with them that they will be so devastated he won't be there?

Not only devastated but so devastated that its worth this massive rant. like the whole funeral hinges on Eddie for some strange reason.

It could be honest, but reading her rant I find her hard to believe she seems like a massive drama queen and this is saying something considering the situation. Why doesn't she focus on Chris's kids and the funeral and not on Eddie? Its absurd the anger at him.

Unfortunately I wouldn't be surprised if Chris was using. I can't be the only one who noticed how skinny he'd gotten...he had the look of an opiate addict as of late and it makes sense with the behavior seen at the last show and the Audioslave reunion. :shake:

seems like it could've been similar to the Philip Seymour Hoffman situation. Long-term sobriety isn't ever a guarantee of being out of the woods. Again, so fucking sad.

It's pretty embarrassing what's become of this thread. I expect this kind of lunacy on the pit, but not from RM.
