I think I'm going to have to look into scalzi's work. I just spent 20 minutes scrolling through various book descriptions on Amazon for this guy and im baffled how ive missed reading any of them. I almost exclusively read science and speculative fiction yet don't own a thing by him.

Do it. It's funny. It's really well written. It's clever and sci fi based in real science but even when it's not it's written so well it feels real world. Guy had a brilliant imagination.
