RIP Chris Cornell 1964 - 2017

Other than Pearl Jam, who else is there?

I'm not saying she did, but she could have.
I think is fairly obvious that she did. With the rope, in the powder room.

God. I always figured Ben Shep would be the one to go. I worry about him moving forward.

Brandie Carlile "Again Today" that Pearl Jam just covered/released
I finally downloaded that off of itunes. Sounds a lot better when it isn't a youtube rip.

I'm watching a fan made dvd that I've had for awhile but never watched, of Chris' 2011 Chicago show. Its helping filter out all the noise and just appreciate how good an artist he was. His performance of When I'm Down was actually better than the one on YouTube from the Troubadour.
What a loss.

I love the awful audio taken direct from soundboard. So amateur and classic local band sort of feed. Amazing.

Guns n Roses played Black Hole Sun in Ireland last night:

I guess Big Dumb Sex would've been a bridge too far.

I can only imagine how much the wife wishes she had stayed on the phone with Chris. Surely she had a landline or there was another phone around that she could have used to call the bodyguard.

I bet he hung up on her. That probably contributed to her panic.

So there seems to be a few sites picking up a story about the first Ed solo gig since Chris' death, but they're all just quoting posts from the PJ forum.

Just doesn't seem to be very balanced reporting, and just a bunch of assumptioons

Here's an article Traga posted over in the Tour forum. It's got some images and video, and a quote from someone who was at the show:
