for the 10000000x hes guilty? I know this, we all know this? im not losing hope?

But if MLB suspends him, both Ryan and Alex will sue, and this will not end good for anyone.
But ive long said hes guilty?

unless you meant i was losing hope on the Brewers season???
i lost hope in that when the starting pitching sucked, not from Braun going down.

and ESPN can shut the hell up already with their "breaking news" reports, that are reporting, nothing new... Its like theyre turning into a tabloid sports news company.

unnamed sources report Braun was uncooperative?
1 - from MLB's standpoint, anything short of a confession would be uncooperative
2 - why at this point, with this much info being leaked, would MLB have anyone in the meeting besides Braun, and a few top end officials? they wouldnt... MLB is trying to stop the leaks, so how does ESPN and pretty much only ESPN keep getting this information?

im not defending Braun here at all, im just saying, ESPN is out for ratings.

the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel had just reported over the weekend, MLB will make no statements / suspensions BEFORE the All-star break to keep the bad news from out shinning the midsummer classic... and 2 days later, heres ESPN again reporting the same old crap...

no wonder most baseball fans watch MLB Network over the ESPN

Still don't expect actual suspensions to ever really occur, even if they do make some statement.

ESPN screwed Bernie Fine and they are pimping a guy who has played 33 games in his life for the ASG. They just want the money Lebowski

ESPN Is not a credible single news source ever on anything

Everyone knows they juiced, but there is no physical proof. How can they make 100 game suspensions stick??

OTL is just trying to get more eyes to ESPN that's it. There is either no source or MLB is trying to curry public favor

The numbers Puig has put up have been ridiculous. He's 8th among NL outfielders in fWAR right now despite just playing those 33 games, and almost all of that value has been from his bat. I have no problem if he gets in.

Ive got no problem with Puig getting in either, that first month is insane... Its not like he has to play anyway lol

I saw these two ASG stats the other day...
Mariano is making his 13th, second most all time for a pitcher... behind Warren Spahns 17! (who also didnt even get his first win till he was 26 years old. Uecker was going on and on about Spahns greatness the other day during the Brewer game...)

Chris Davis became the 2nd person ever, to lead his league in total votes, to make his first ever all-star game. the other was Ichiro in his rookie season (who, is approaching 4000 hits for his career)

Yeah, remember when those numbers were Jeff Francouer? He's out of the league now. Kid has had a good month swinging at the first pitch though, and ESPN is in the trending on twitter market.

It's great he's taken a dead and buried waste of money Dodgers team and brought them back to respectablility, but seriously, kid has played a month, I have no problem with him playing in a useless midseason exibition game either, but ESPN loves him, because the LA market is excited about him.

Dear lord I didn't realize Spahn was in 17 ASG's wow.

Of course he won't keep it up, and maybe he'll never have a decent month the rest of his career. But the All-Star Game is meant to reward what's happened so far this season, not what happened in past seasons and not what's expected to happen in the future. What has happened is that Puig has provided more value to his team in 35 games than almost any NL outfielder has in 80+ games. That's pretty amazing.

Just to clarify, I completely understand and agree with what you're saying about ESPN and their obsession with stories like Puig's, I just don't think it would be ridiculous to have him in the All-Star game.

I agree he's been awesome to watch over the last month.

A worse contract than Verlander's?

You dislike the deal?
I'm guessing there's going to be at least $45 million per year in wasted payroll between him and Fielder in about 5 years from now.
You think JV will be done by 35?
Maybe not done, but certainly not a $23 million a year pitcher. I hope I'm wrong and I eat crow, but I think his innings start catching up to him.
Zeppe, we have to be a little worried here? No?

im not sure, as the article / nor Uecker mentioned it, but I know they played 2 all star games a year for awhile... so not sure how many that boosted his total by.

Aaron and Musial were both up over 20 werent they? thats just insane...

Given that Pearl Jam is essentially Dad Rock now, it's perfectly acceptable, also wear sandals with crew socks pulled up all the way.
