Well he certainly propped him up in the immediate aftermath and encouraged him to play through it.
It's dumb but these two do make each other better and want to play better. And when they don't manage it they usually just resort to laughing and doing an odd couple/comedy bit that's just natural to them.

I love em playing together. That's all I know. Wish they'd spread their wings a bit and release that EP. 5 of the coolest songs you'll ever hear. Or never hear. Just so amazing.
