I love that people will bitch about the pens playing physical claiming the refs in their favor but don't say shit when the other team gets away with it and then claim Cindy just has to be tougher

i was surprised they overturned the goal. there had to be a different angle that the TV didnt have access to.

while i am a bit dismayed that pens only got off 12 shots i am glad that the save percentage is where it ended up for the game.

pens can definitely fix the shot totals

Is it the same replay as TV or can they zoom in? It's possible if they zoomed in they could see his skate lifted, but I don't know. Probably a better game if it stands but oh well. I'm mostly hoping for a 7 game series.

Wait. Are home games in a playoff series determined during the series? Forgive me if that's a stupid question. Not a hockey fan here beyond playoffs.

They are determined by points from the regular season.

Like the World Series a team has home field advantage. The pens in this case do. Whether the score is 10-1 or 2-1 you're supposed to win at home. That's all the pens were supposed to do. I'm fairly certain they were or at least one of the top scoring teams this year realistically I nor others were expecting such a quick explosion of goals vs Nashville (although pecca has a shitty save % and gave up like 3.5 goals per game against the pens this year)

a coworker won tickets to the game last night. the tickets came from a vendor who gave them to my boss (some kind of law that if you receive free items and they are valued over X amount of dollars they have to be raffled off).

coworker isnt the most pleasant person to work with (aside from my grumpiness i am generally considered one of the easier to get along with folks in the department let alone company)

my first thought was to call PPG and say the guy sitting in section X, row X, seat X was bragging how he was going to sneak a catfish in and throw it on the ice to give nashville fans a bad rep
