Be funny to see who's complaining about the term dad rock and if they've posted in this thread?

Little wonder they don't like the term.

I think that with the release of Just Breathe that Pearl Jam fans lost all moral high ground to make that type comparison to Creed.

pitchfork is to this review as pearl jam is to creed as Arms Wide Open is to Just Breathe.
Just Breathe isn't perfect but it's better than anything Creed ever wrote and is nothing like Creed.
Compare the two songs. I'd venture to say that Arms Wide Open is the much song in fact. Just Breathe is the epitomy of Mom&Dad rock.
Dad rock is a stupid fucking phrase and just breathe is a lovely song

This is the big silencer of this argument: if Dad Rock exists, then we're listening to it (Pearl Jam) regardless of whether we have kids or not.

Listening to Vitalogy. Guys, however much I like this song, it isn't STBC.

Thank heavens for that, I thought PJ done goofed and re-released it under a different name last week. Phew!

Sorry, this is the first time I thought to question that 'like STBC' thing.

But still, shit is hot fire.

Sorry but Just Breathe is a new age Journey song with worn out vocals. If it was by any other band you'd deride it as derivative and and bland. The best thing I could say about Just Breathe is that it sounds like a good 21st century song by Willie Nelson.

Which Journey song sounds like "Just Breathe"? Honest question. That seems like an odd comparison from the few Journey songs I've heard.

X song I hate sounds exactly like Y song I hate, despite the fact that they have nothing in common other than being objects of my hatred.

Every time I hear this, it reminds me of the time I thought it would be a great idea to have a level-5-chilli-rated super-hot Vindaloo and about a dozen beers.

That shit, was hot fire.
