Why did i think this was starting up again tomorrow?

So, only 7 episodes this season and then perhaps 6 more to close it out in 2019?

Yep. 7 this season. 6 in the next. Not confirmation on when the final season will air yet, but it could be as late as 2019. Maybe we'll have the sixth book by then!
