Bridge School cancelled/over
Guessing cause of the divorce/rift.
Sad, always thought Pearl Jam would take over one day.

Statements from Neil and Pegi that don't say why but seems pretty obvious. Neil is playing Farm Aid so it's not because he's sick.

wow that is pretty sad. "For personal reasons...." per Neil.
That is such a wonderful event and has clearly done amazing things in raising money for the cause. Pretty sad for all those involved that it will no longer be.

Here's hoping, like Matt said, that another band can take it over at some point in the future. Too worthy of an event to just stop.

Re: Bridge School cancelled/over
Really sad. Attended a day in 2000 and boy days in 2001, 2006, and 2014. Saw a lot of great sets and performances. On the PJ front, saw the debut of I Am Mine and Last Soldier as well as the live debut of Low Light in 2001. 2006 was my favorite. Half of the songs they played were first timers for me. In 2014 they were underwhelming, but the final Hunger Strikes with Chris happened then.
Otherwise, some of my favorite sets were Brian Wilson (2006), Florence and the Machine (2014), Tom Jones (2014), Dave Matthews solo (2006), Rem (2006), and Beck (2001). Soundgarden played fucking Dusty, too. It was a great time every time.
