I thought the idea behind the GH compilation was to have every song performance documented, chronologically ordered and from there selecting the best performance while taking sound quality in to account but that factor not being the foremost criteria.

I don't think there's even an audience recording circulating of that show, only YouTube videos.

Which you'd have to pull the audio from but since it is possible I would include it.

I think ole from Ottawa is the choice, Vancouver is good but Ed getting mad at the end in my opinion while cool, is not a good representation of the song. Ottawa has a lot of growl and is just so fast and ferocious, it's the only version I listen to now.

I think as far as "The End" goes, you can go two ways here. You can use a version where they brought out the strings, but there is very good very I think either at the very end of the aussie shows or in New Zealand which is fucking priceless.

Youtube audio is super compressed and sounds like shit.

Most of the time, but if it's the only circulating version... this comp currently has a few lackluster tracks but were included for completist's and the projects sake.
