The Infiltrator. Got bored after about thirty minutes. I can probably guess what happens.
Into the Forest: A lot to like, but it was frustrating. Too formulaic. Ellen Page is great, though.

I should also mention that it is literally impossible to watch this and not think of her and Evan Rachel Wood performing actions together that are against God's will.tragabigzanda wrote:I don't see what that has to do with anything, Burt.BurtReynolds wrote:Into the Forest: A lot to like, but it was frustrating. That was "Into the Woods" and Chris Pine was the most hilarious thing in that movie.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Was this that one with Anna Kendrick and Chris Pine singing? That was awfulBurtReynolds wrote: Into the Forest: A lot to like, but it was frustrating. Too formulaic. Ellen Page is great, though.
Watched "Logan" Sunday and it was OK. Maybe a little less than OK. No one I watched it with could figure out the motivations of all of the characters, and eventually we all decided we watched a different film all at the same time because of how disparate our interpretations were of certain actions.
Watched "Doctor Strange" last night and it was much better. I really wish I had taken the opportunity to see it in 3D, that would have been crazy. So, is DS going to be in the Thor movie? Because it looks like he's supposed to be but I haven't been following that production at all.
Oh yeah, almost forgot: at the end when they said "Infinity Stone" my son, who up to this point I thought was a pretty smart kid, said, "OH are you kidding me? Like in the Guardians movie? Are they trying to tie these movies all together or something?" lol
I still think it's hilarious that the Soul Stone is going to be in Black Panther.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Hacksaw Ridge.
It was pretty good. I have mixed feelings about Andrew Garfield being the lead; parts of it I thought he as fine but other times I thought he was in over his head. Some great battle sequences in the second half; a little CGI but mostly old fashioned, real life effects. Other than Garfield and Vince Vaughn it was hard to tell who was who sometimes during these scenes. The last hour half is a little hard to belief but the real medic did get 75 injured men off the field.
