Isn't there a rumor, among the many others, that Ezra is Benicio Del Toro's character in The Last Jedi?

Man, I was really hoping Ahsoka was gonna be a wolf.

It's not a rumor as much as wishful thinking taking a blind shot in the dark at a guess.darth_vedder wrote:Isn't there a rumor, among the many others, that Ezra is Benicio Del Toro's character in The Last Jedi?

Kanan and Ezra simply have to die this next and last season.
Ahsoka though? Getting her own series I'm betting.
Even if we never see him again, I like to think that the galaxy is so big that there are anonymous/unknown/exiled Jedi out there.
If we do the math based on numerical values of the names and the alphabet:
E-5
Z-26
R-18
A-1
S-19
N-14
O-15
K-11
E-5
We then total them up: 64 for Snoke, 50 for Ezra. We subtract Ezra from Snoke to get a result of 14. What is the 14th letter of the alphabet?
N
So no, Snoke is not Ezra.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

The complete locations book does say Yoda in his time on dagobah is 'communicating with other Jedi in exile'. It gives no further details on who. It doesn't say Obi Wan though he is the only one we know is alive. There would hopefully be others.

I still think Snoke is an old Jedi. Well I guess a fallen Jedi or whatever. Someone who lived off the grid for awhile in order to survive post order 66.

The Lost 20 are still canon. 20 Jedi that left the order and went off into the galaxy.
Snoke is not one. He is from the unknown regions. They've been setting that up across multiple books. Total new thing and unknown quantity.

I'm aware. That's why I said still as in even with all the new cannon material I still think that. Either way I don't think his origin will be important.

I would love for Snoke to be Ezra because THAT would be taking a risk in letting some of the less well known Canon stuff become actually important in the universe. Fuck casual fandom at this point.

Snokes personal origin no not important. But his place of origin?
He's from wildspace and we're gonna see it all get really screwed up and that's what palpatine had Thrawn out there looking for n all.
New big threat. Replacing the jedi/sith binary thing with something bigger
It's all very very marvelesque now that I think on it
Don't they have tons of God like terrors out in the universe waiting to come get them all?
Doctor strange had one. Guardians has one. Avengers etc

Yeah that's why I think he's something that was a jedi or a sith at one point. If he wasn't/isn't we start getting into fantasy and scifi elements that don't fit into the Star Wars world. Star Wars is a pretty conservative world when you think about it and to suddenly bring in a new factor is risky and I just don't see Disney taking that risk.

Unless he's of some ancient force capable species that predate sith and Jedi. Would be cool gateway for them onto getting into the Jedi origins or Knights of the old republic sorta era

That would be interesting. I'm for it. Our writing team here should put this together.
