i may try and finish the guided tour series this summer. yield is all i have left (plus half of lightning bolt). there is so much to say about wishlist

I miss the days when I would spend my days writing on here how much I love this album. Still do.

I was so excited last year in Yosemite for my first real Yield picture.

I'm not a huge fan of "Wishlist". I like it but it's probably my least-favorite song on the album. The base composition is kind of boring -- funnily, this is one song where Mikejasond's "same chord over and over again" critique kinda holds up, as it's built on that C and variations thereof -- but it's saved by the guitar flourishes over it which are very pretty, and the sentiment

Low Light is amazing, along with In Hiding, DTE, GTF, Faithfull, Brain of J. Great album. No Way and Pilate are weak spots for me, Red Dot is mostly waste of space.

No code and then Yield are both great. But both records do that U2 thing of top loading the record and put the hits up front.
