The Korok Mask is helpful to say the least. It just shows how incredible the players who found all 900 without the mask are. Some of these are so overlookable. I had 388 before I found the Korok Mask. I can't wait until December and DLC2!

Me either. I've never really revised a Zelda game other than Wind Waker. I will definitely come back to it at some point.CopperTom wrote:I haven't. Re: The all inclusive video game thread
Zelda is the rare franchise that I would revisit. I would have my initial playthrough and then a 100% playthrough. I'm not going to go crazy finding all of the Koroks. Is there a trophy that you obtain if you kill all of the different Hinoxes, Taluses and Lynels, respectively? I might go after that next.Monkey_Driven wrote:Me either. Re: The all inclusive video game thread
Picked up a Steam Link the other day. Pretty damn good, now I can play any steam game on our main lounge or bedroom TV. Response was pretty good on the wifi, visual and mouse/keyboard wise, but the sound lagged a bit. Apparently it's best on a wired connection though.
Apparently a PS4 controller can be connected via bluetooth, so that'll be the next step.

What are the big game exclusives that might draw me to try a Steam setup?

Sorry, I thought you were making a joke. The steam link works with ANY game on Steam.tragabigzanda wrote:What did I say?

Right, but are most of those games available for PC? Or are there lots of good exclusives?Sgt. Crackpot wrote:Sorry, I thought you were making a joke. The steam link works with ANY game on Steam.tragabigzanda wrote:What did I say?

Crash N. Sane Trilogy is
Still difficult as fuck in a lot of parts too, glad they didn't dumb down the challenging levels.

Snake Pass is a nice surprise. Nothing spectacular, just a relaxing, sometimes challenging platformer with a satisfying mechanic. It was on sale this weekend on the Switch.
Nex Machina is also very solid. Tougher than Resogun, but scratches that Smash TV or Defender arcade itch.

Bought the Amanita bundle for iPad for $13. Love Machinarium, but only had it on Android. Looking forward to playing Samorost 3 and Botanicula.

So if it's just PC games in a console-style box, what's the draw? That weird looking controller?

Re: The all inclusive video game thread
The controller is shit. Better to use pc, xbox or sony one which just plug straight in, or can be connected via bluetooth. You can also use mouse and keyboard, via cord, bluetooth, or via those little unifying wireless receiver style ontes.tragabigzanda wrote:So if it's just PC games in a console-style box, what's the draw? It basically allows you to play/stream your games on a TV anywhere in your house without moving your PC around. Great for me where my main PC is setup in the basement, but sometimes I'd like to game in the lounge or bedroom. It's a little box the size of a sandwich and is a piece of piss to setup.
For $30, it's a pretty fucking sweet deal.

Final Fantasy XII remake next week. That thread was one of the first very active threads I was involved in on RM. I still never beat Yaz

Re: The all inclusive video game thread
I picked up Crash too for nostalgic purposes. I have this terrible habit of buying games and not playing them for like 4-6 months after I buy them. So I finally got around to playing Horizon seriously last night. Goddamn what a beautiful game, it really is stunning on my 4k TV. Didn't think anything would surpass UC4 in terms of graphical display, but pretty sure this has it beat and I'm only about an hour into the game. I can see what the rave is about now......
