Maybe he does. It doesn't matter. He needs to legacy hunt and he's not going to get it done there.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Wall? I don't think so. Although I do think international players seem to place a bigger emphasis on staying with a city that makes them feel at home in another country.

Yeah my guess is he leaves. He's the best international player since Dirk right? It was easy for Dirk to stay because Dallas was a reasonable market. The bronze fonz isn't keeping Giannis in Milwaukee.spike wrote:until they don'tverb_to_trust wrote:Yeah he's probably gonespike wrote:geez, hayward leaving a small market now has the media yapping about giannis leaving milwaukee in a few years. they ain't wrong, it's just jarring.

Same amount as Cristiano Felicio with better stats last year in every category. Contracts are weird.verb_to_trust wrote:How does Vince Carter still make 8 million per year?

Carter brings nothing. It's like throwing money away. Felicio is young. You can justify paying for upside at least.

I didn't know that. Insane. I'm wondering why him and Richard Jefferson(I know not making the same) are still playing. But...why the hell not? 8 mill to barely play and provide "veteran leadership" or whatever.verb_to_trust wrote:How does Vince Carter still make 8 million per year?

That veteran leadership bullshit can easily come from an assistant coach with some NBA experience.

Re: NBA Thread
Because if you did you would see Carter has been a solid role player the last two years. Probably not 8 million a year too but certainly worth 5-6 million on a one year deal. Have to overpay a bit if you're the Kings.verb_to_trust wrote:Not really. Why does it matter?Monkey_Driven wrote:Did you guys watch a lot of Grizzlies games this year?
