As expected, it was slammed with hundreds of comments about "wtf?" and "you say fuck capitalism, now this".

Ciccone Youth, however, is a fascinating and violent take on pop music in the late 80s. What was hinted at on Evol is fully realized on this release. Only Sonic Youth could make a beatbox sound so...damaged. At the very least, it's an interesting side step. Pretty Hate Machine wishes it could be this darkly tongue in cheek danceable.
