That, I will accept. Kids like shit, sure, but I don't think making a movie for them is necessarily shit. I'm sure the army of marketers and execs and advanced Disney computer AI carefully crafted this for them, rather than just churn out shit because 12 year olds will eat up anything.
What I'm saying is I don't care about the subject matter. I have no interest in Peter Parker's high school life. This isn't for me.

you go on and on and on and on and then on some more about how shit these movies are and you come across as upset that they make the money they do while the artsy fartsy movies you like do not get as much love or attention. hopefully it is eating away at you from the inside and you just stop going to movies you already have your mind made up on and just accept the fact that people enjoy these movies despite the awkward or not realistic scenes that help comprise a movie

I loved all the marvel movies up until civil war. But the last few have downright sucked. But marvel is so beloved here that it feels a little intimidating to criticize it.

As I've already said, this is the first Marvel movie I've seen since Age of Ultron, and I only saw it because I like the director. Yes, I generally think Marvel movies are trash, and yes, I know a lot of people like them. I don't know why you consistently seem to take it as a personal attack that people have different opinions than you do.Peeps wrote:LoathedVermin72 wrote:Such an ironic post.Peeps wrote:LoathedVermin72 wrote:That, I will accept. to the LV point, the things marvel excels at, character, storytelling, continuity, the tone, etc are things he has long documented his lack of interest in.

I disagree that they excel at character, storytelling, or tone, but yeah, generally, you're right.
