Then again, I was only here to read the fight happening between Verm and everyone else. So maybe it's all YOUR fault that I got spoiled. But if the movie's worth hinges on one dumb twist or whatever, then I can't imagine that it's a very good movie. I'll either forget all about it by the time I finally see the stupid thing, or I will remember and it'll be fun to track it from the beginning and see if it's "fair" or not.
Not everyone else. I have been sticking up for him, I'll have you know.
Im just not sure why anyone would not want LV to make his opinions known. They are the most entertaining thing on RM.

My apologies, friend. I was speaking in generalities for simplicity's sake. You've defended LV well, as have a few others.

Sorry everyone that I spoiled anything for. I think I was reading a thread elsewhere and thought it was here and got mixed up. My mistake folks.

It's really not a big deal, Skitch. Though, I appreciate the apology. I'm not even entirely sure of the total context of the spoiler. It's fine. Like I said, if the movie is only good because of that, then it's not a movie I want to see.

It is a big deal and this should get a minimum three day ban.

Definitely not. A surprise and something that moved the plot in an interesting direction, but in reality it's not a super important point.

He's just saying that to make you feel better. He totally just spoiled the movie for you. It will also spoil Last Jedi, for reasons that will be clear later.

It's ironic, I missed this in stip's initial post. But I clicked on the spoiler here because I assumed it was either a reference to what we were just talking about or a joke.

Hilarious.

Now TWO things have been spoiled for me. But you know what? I don't even give a shit. Both spoilers are super minor. And also, it's my fault. The movie is already out. If I'm bothered by this kind of thing, I probably shouldn't be posting in this thread until I've seen it. Both of these are ultimately on me.

I was just skimming through the posts, and usually people here are good about spoilers

I kinda feel that the end of opening weekend is a fair window for the end of spoilers. Hmmm

I appreciate the courtesy but I honestly don't expect spoiler-tags after the movie has opened unless there is some major twist/reveal in the thing. Then I figure the opening weekend is good enough buffer. It's all about user accountability.

lol. Rereading stips post before all the LV stuff is actually the thread I thought where stuff was being discussed. He spoiled way more than I did, just a little more indirectly in some instances.

Yeah there's no way I'll click on a movie thread until I watch it

That said, yeah Keaton and Holland were really awesome.. for whatever reason I didn't hate flash (I still think he should have been more physically intimidating tho).. Ned's character wasn't horrible, typical teen sidekick helper.. just wish he wasn't Ned leeds..
Spoiler: show
as for Liz being his kid.. I thought Liz was gonna be Liz Allan and Michelle was gonna be his daughter and that's why she was spying on him everywhere.. so now is she 'Mary jane'?? I'd imagine

The whole scorpion thing was kinda neat I guess.. I think I saw the scorpion tail in one of the trucks.. actually I thought it was a doc oc arm at first.. kinda bummed the post credit wasn't Norman moving into avengers tower(scorpion was already introduced on the ferry)
