I love seeing so many "fuck Ron Howard for getting me excited about this movie!" sentiments online. He really was the right person to bring in and "fix" this project. Now let's just see if he can help make a good movie out of all of this.

Ugh. I couldn't think of a director who is less "exciting" than Ron Howard.

Maybe if Garry Marshall came back from the dead to direct it.

I don't disagree. I just mean he did exactly what Lucasfilm needed him to do in terms of the fans at large and damage control. So many people are turning around on this. It's amazing. And, I think, unexpected.
