Who is producing this new record? Is it Daniel Lanois?

I assume produced by Adam like the rest of his work. What makes you think it would be someone else?

Another new one. Thats three now. 2 out of 3 are top notch.

Really looking forward to this.

Though, i miss the days of maybe hearing 1 single and a b side before hearing the new album? Feels like these days you'll hear 3-5 before its even released.
totally agree. although, in this world of "PRE-ORDER NOW", i guess i don't mind it TOO much, especially if it's a record from a band i'm not sure about yet. i'm going to blindly pre-order an album from a lot of bands no matter what, but if it's a new album from - say - QOTSA or Broken Social Scene, i'd like to hear 3-4 songs before i pre-order anything. Especially in this world of limited edition vinyl variants (which is pretty annoying).

Yep, the 4 or so 'singles' so far have all been great.

Looking forward to this album.

I've played this through 3 times today at work and it is quite excellent. It's a great full-album-listen.

And In Chains is sooo good.

I don't know the names of the songs, but we listened to this album 3x in the past 24 hours... great follow-up to their previous release.

Hoping to see them at the Ogden in October.

If it's possible to have mixed feelings while loving an album then that's what I have. The album is great. it flows so well and it gently takes you places. The only downside is that it's just a further refinement of the last two albums. No new ground or sounds explored. But for those of you seeing them on this tour, they really surprised me how good they were live.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.
