I find it sad that instead of wanting another great PJ record, a lot of fans just want to keep the streak alive and would rather get Victory Lap Tours featuring nothing new, aside from covers and a live performance of a rarity. Personally, I'd like a reminder of how great this band can be by buckling down and writing a great album again.

I want more music for sure. I love them and even if LB is the worst of their albums is still a fucking good record.

I want a new album as well, even if it isn't great. But of course nothing in music would please me more than if they could knock one out of the park.

LB has its moments, but I rarely listen to it anymore.

I listen to it pretty often, and its still a good album. My complaint is that its not different from the others...its like the greatest hits from pj.

LB and BS are decent enough, but LB is 4 years old with no hint of anything coming, aside from a Wrigley Field set and Soldier Field 95. Great, more live stuff. Woo hoo!! :| Can we at least get another Lost Dogs? I'm also bummed that No Code and Yield didn't get the deluxe treatment that the first 3 records got.

While I don't hate BS and LB, they're still capable of so much more than throwing a record together from 2 2 week recording sessions. Both of those records were pretty safe, in terms of musical direction. I really wonder how tense things got during the S/T recording sessions, because they've not operated the same since. Or, do they see what the majority of people on the pit say and aim to please them?

Honestly, this is where Social Media becomes a detriment to art. I've seen it happen to a couple of things recently. Artists are paying too much attention to what fan bases say and it's affecting the outcome. It would be nice just to get some kind of update one way or the other. A lot of the times, we're in the dark until the current project drops.

Saw a rumor today that the band would be playing Lola Brazil next year.

That got me thinking that these guys have actually had a schedule the whole time. They always do

I imagine they will knock something out to be released next spring, then start tour dates in the summer.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Rumors and nothing coming directly from the band. Just like the hiatus rumor coming from Chris Chelios. It would be nice to get an update every once in a while from a source that represents the band, or the band itself.

Remember Ed partying and hanging with Kid Rock? And Kid Rock is a hardcore Trump supporter?

He was also best friends with Johnny Ramone, who probably would have been a hardcore Trump supporter.

I'd be relieved if that were the case, tbh.

So we won't be getting any songs with Ed wearing a rubber Trump mask? I'm somewhat disappointed.

But it's really just a hidden track of Stone farting.
Probably his best work.
