I never plant tomatoes because everyone else does and I feel like a jerk when they offer me a grocery bag full and I have to say no.

Cut those tomatoes up and serve them in a bowl with goat cheese and panko crusted anything.

I had some heirloom carrots last night that were served with a really good pancake/bread thing on the side. I don't remember what it was called, but it was flat and fluffy with a crispy surface and made with butter, herbs and carrots.

Broccoli: a reversal of sorts

Post by wease »

So, since it was included in a salad I had a few weeks back, I tried some broccolini. It was pretty good. Pretty, pretty good. I’ve had it since and liked it but rationalized it by saying it wasn’t actually broccoli. Well, then I tried “actual”’broccoli and found they we pretty much the same. And I liked it. Now, this was raw and I still think cooked broccoli is yucky, but I’m digging it right now.

And mayonnaise is still disgusting.
