TBD? It upgraded Sam from latrine duty?
I was unimpressed with how easy of a cure that was.
Same.

Quite the moment there when Jon says he's not a Stark and gets sideswiped by a fucking dragon.

I'm glad they dived right into the meeting with Stark and Daenerys. Wonderful.

I was actually hoping Bran would swoop in right before John kneels to let everyone know that they are related.

To be fair, he's probably been up pretty late on the computer for several months in a row.

Loved Cersei's tormenting of the Sand snake. I'm not usually a fan of "torture porn," and I hate Cersei, but as a parent I was 100% in her corner there.

Littlefinger's advice was the best since Tyrion told Jon to never forget who he was back in season one.

Bran came across like an autistic kid who knows more than everyone and is a dick about it.

My One Big Question from this episode is: why didn't Olena sell out Littlefinger to Jamie, especially knowing that she was about to die?

I guess, practically, it doesn't matter at this point: as Lord Protector of the Vale, he's in open rebellion against the crown by supporting Jon, so it's not like this would be the last straw or anything. It could've helped Dany's cause, for sure, because it may have caused Cersei to look North as well, but Olena's got no kids or grankids anymore so I'm sure she's like IDGAF. Still, I was waiting for that shoe to drop.

I talked about this in a spoiler'd comment last week: there was a theory floating around that Jorah would become some sort of Patient Zero for a grayscale outbreak, since plague plays a big role in the books, too. But ain't nobody got time for that anymore--I think they just lifted it from the storyline in the book that they cut (which I won't name here, but you know which one I'm talking about) to add some drama to Jorah's story, since he'll probably play a big role in the end.

Did I turn away from the TV when Davos said "DRAGON'S BREATH CAN'T MELT STEEL BEAMS"?

Yeah that's obviously where they got it, it just ended up being entirely pointless and surprisingly easy to cure.

I was expecting, at the very least, for Sam to be given a link for curing Jorah.

I think I underestimated Bran with the theorizing I did in the past few weeks; I think he knows the intel he has is too important to tell anyone but Jon.

I had heard this theory floated a few times in the past, and now I think it's pretty clear--based on the cliffside conversation between Jon and Tyrion--that...
Spoiler: show
He and Tormund are going to try and capture a wight/White Walker alive and return it to Dragonstone to get Dany's support. It makes sense now that they cut Thorne's trip to King's Landing with the hand from the show.
