Comparing Cersei to Robb (making all the right tactical moves, surprising everyone with her acumen) doesn't bode well for her.

Yeah I didn't like that at all. Seems like getting you skin peeled off would require a little recovery time at least.cutuphalfdead wrote:Yeah that's obviously where they got it, it just ended up being entirely pointless and surprisingly easy to cure.
Overall it was a 'meh' episode. Classic middle of the season one.

I have a feeling Khaleesi is about to wreck shit with some dragons (and Dothraki) though. She won't be taking advice for long.

In terms of the two actors never actually being on the same set together? You never saw both their faces in the same shot. I'm sure it happens subtly all the time but it really stood out to me here.Monkey_Driven wrote:The Dany/Jon stuff was really well done.

Thorne is still sent to KL in the show with the hand. They just never actually show that trip.Simple Torture wrote:I had heard this theory floated a few times in the past, and now I think it's pretty clear--based on the cliffside conversation between Jon and Tyrion--that...

I think you're right; for some reason, I thought he was sent to East Watch or something.Mecca wrote:Thorne is still sent to KL in the show with the hand. Also thought the grey scale recovery time was a bit ridiculous, then had to remind myself that I'm watching a fantasy show. Also got confused as someone else mentioned by the transition from Grey Worm to Elena. But other than that, thought it was a great episode. Enjoying the shit out of this season so far. Can't expect every episode to be full of epic battles and huge deaths but they really aren't bullshitting around so far.

I'm betting she will have one less dragon by the end of the next two episodes.BurtReynolds wrote:I have a feeling Khaleesi is about to wreck shit with some dragons (and Dothraki) though. She won't be taking advice for long.

Man, Bran is that totally unhooked from the matrix, there is no truth, type of guy now. Probably the one dude you don't want to have some ale with at Winterfell. Straight up buzzkill. He's got a lot of heavy shit to drop on Jon.

Is Bran gonna be the one to tell Jon that Danyerys is his sister?
Will Jon tell her? Will she believe him?

And that's what I thought after last night: he's not just going to drop that intel on Sansa. It's too sensitive to tell anyone else, even someone in the family.

not sister but nephew. Rheagar was Dany's brother.

The only thing from last night's episode that is really bothering me is that Jamie seems to be totally on board with Queen Cersei now. Hopefully Olena rekindled the doubts he had about her.

Yeah and maybe illustrates that Bran doesn't trust Sansa due to the Littlefinger influence.

I'm confused. Dany is his aunt?
Also it was sooooo weird that Littlefinger said his thing about everything happening at once then Bran repeating it to her. Is he trying to show her he's for real?

I think he doubled-down on Cersei because Euron seems like a threat--he thinks he can actually lose her. He gets his most Cersei-est when he's worried he'll never see her again, like when he killed his cousin as a prisoner. His devotion for her rises and falls, bu it's going to take something big for him to break from her.Monkey_Driven wrote:The only thing from last night's episode that is really bothering me is that Jamie seems to be totally on board with Queen Cersei now. Yes; Jon's father was Rhaegar Targaryen, Dany's brother. The Mad King was Jon's grandfather.dimejinky99 wrote:I'm confused. Dany is his aunt?
