Re: Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (2017)
The Last Jedi actress, promoting Top of the Lake: China Girl at the Television Critics Association Press Tour, said:
I was just so delighted to be in The Last Jedi, and for that to be directed by Rian Johnson, who is another director I’ve long admired since I watched Brick, actually; I thought that was a really brilliant piece of work… so when Rian invited me to read the script, have my thoughts and then to come and discuss it with him — as he did all of the cast members — I was really thrilled to have an opportunity of a forum where I could put my ideas forward and have some back and forth about where we felt things were and where we felt they can go.
Like most associated with the film, Christie remained vague about what to expect from Episode VIII. However, it sounds like exciting things remain ahead for the chrome-plated captain as well as the franchise.
“What I can tell you about the next Star Wars film is I think Rian does an exceptional job of going deeper, of going further, and really exploring what these relationships are.”

It'll be in cinemas at least this week. Pal works in the distribution end in the U.K. He just saw it. I'll report back with his report.

Ok. Trailer B of The Last Jedi, the 1m32s cert PG trailer is just a shorter edit of the first trailer. They have cut little bits out here and there, especially at the very top. There is very, very little difference.

The cuts match up, the damage to the head make sense when looking at the mask, and then he looks like freddy krueger from Luke burning him, vader wanted to cheat death...
Oh great, this is going to suck.

Would very very neatly explain Kylos obsession with Vader.

This would make perfect sense if they execute it well. It would tie the nine movies together perfectly, and give TFA added meaning.
However, the guys behind the movies said they considered making Snoke a woman, before they landed on his TFA design, so who knows.

I think it just a fun coincidence.
