"As for the Mother of Dragons – can we be honest and point out that her greatly anticipated tête-à-tête with Jon Snow was a mite undercooked? As they jibbered and jabbered it felt that Game of Thrones could plausibly be re-titled "Game of People Standing Around And Talking". There was no spark, not sense of looming conflict – just the usual "burn ‘em all" grandstanding from Daenerys and extra helpings of Jon Snow’s traditional frowning. "

I liked the intermingling for the Casterley Rock/Highgarden scenes and thought they were very well done.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Yeah, I also liked this. I'm not sure this siege warranted an epic action scene, so I thought this worked well.

Same. I've enjoyed how Dany's crew has taken some losses. Especially if it was Euron, Jamie, and Tarley behind the planning.

Did they try to say that Tyrion designed the sewer/drainage system of Castely Rock? Because that castle has existed for centuries. He was in charge of drainage when he lived there, but the VO made it sound like he designed the system, which is a bit ridiculous.

I think they did, or he was in charge of a renovation of some sort.

I didnt get that from that scene. I heard it as nobody else knows anything about what lies down there because everyone else felt they were above it. He is the only one aware of the sewer and drainage system because they sent him, the midget unworthy of anything else, down there to deal with it all. I didnt hear that he built it.

dime's point about Littlefinger and Bran is a good one. Littlefinger likes to imagine every possible scenario that's occurring so he'll never be surprised. Bran can see everything that's going on, so he's never surprised. If Littlefinger finds out, he'll almost certainly try to exploit him.

I would enjoy Littlefinger trying to exploit Bran. That shit will backfire in spectacular fashion.

Littlefinger's advice to Sansa is pretty much what Bran is capable of: seeing all scenarios at one time

If Littlefinger could somehow harness Bran, this could turn into a story about the surveillance state really quick.

There was a bit too much dick measuring in those scenes. It also kinda felt like a recap of the story so far.
