Vaders spirit talking to Kylo was one of the early ideas for TFA. The idea being that Anakin and Vaders spirit split. They even had concept art for a burned ruined version of him. It's in the Art of TFA book. It was thought after that that it was Snoke putting it all in Kylos head to control him and bring him further to the dark side or to control him.

Everything is still on the table until we see the film I reckon.

But Snoke is a physical being - not spirit - it'd still make no sense

dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

Concept art. And while description in the link. It was thought having Anakin in there would make the story too busy and give too much indication that Rey was a Skywalker...http://screencrush.com/anakin-skywalker ... e-awakens/

The emperor moves from Clone body to clone body by possession in one of the old eu comics forced to do so cos the dark side literally burns the life out of the body rapidly. LFL have been mining a lot from the old EU. The possession / transference idea isn't a new one in Star Wars and could be the thing here.

I hate the fact that it seems the movies are now becoming less of a progression of the story, and an expansion of the universe, and more of a thrill for the directors/writes to have:
  • Have someone related to somebody. i.e. One of the key good guys is related to one of the bad guys. And someone is the descendant of someone.
  • Kill someone off.
Star Wars makers, stop trying to find links and kill off people to try to gain shock value. We had the brilliant "No, I am your father" moment in the past. Stop trying to recreate that moment.

Please, just tell great stories, with lots of pew pews and gold bikinis.

These posts piss me off more than the speculation posts because they are responding to stupid fan speculation posts as if they were what is actually happening.

They killed off Han, and made him and Kylo related. So it's already happening. My point is, I'll be pissed off if this continues with each movie.

Prepare to be pissed. Rey is probably Luke's daughter AND Obi wans granddaughter

This is awesome. And PACKED with everything we know.

There's a useful in-progress google doc compilation of credible TLJ rumors that was recently posted on reddit: The Last Jedi Rumor Board (link https://docs.google.com/document/d/1d-t ... KrZJc/edit )

It's well-organized with a table of contents, headers, photos, and sources, and there's a team of editors keeping it up to date.
