I was backing you up! Kind of.
Maybe I said it wrong.

What I meant to say was that your approach is perfectly logical in the context of an intellectual discussion between people smart enough to understand the data, but this is RM and you're still kind of new here in relation to everyone else. The flow of conversation didn't necessitate the kind of discussion that you were trying to kick off, because, well, RM. It's not surprising that this backfired on you, but I don't think the way you presented your argument was inherently weird like Argo is implying.

He didn't pretend it was pork at all. He was quite forthcoming in telling everyone that it was indeed jack fruit.

This is where we part ways, Trag. You can't just make stuff up like that and continue to have RM's support.

I eat a lot chicken. Red meat maybe 2-3 times a month and pork hardly ever. Is that a good start, you guys?

You find Strat's posts to have a calming effect? I haven't really noticed that, but I've never really checked into it.

Where should the ethically minded, middle class urbanite go for lean protein killed responsibly? Common sense, practical solutions here guys. Please don't tell me to take up fly fishing or anything. That won't work for me and mine.

It's interesting that trag points to "peer-reviewed research" here, yet consumes and supports supplements and vitamins, which has NONE of said research to back it.

Yes, please. I also don't have the time, money, or physical space to raise chickens.

I don't think you need money to raise chickens, but space is definitely an issue. All of the poorest places in Houston have so many chickens running around that you'd think you were in Kakariko Village.

A, i didn't read argo's post yet, so there's still time. B, i didn't go batshit crazy on you for anytbing other than you attacked me for quoting an animated gif, which is, frankly, a dumb thing to yell at me about, especially since you didn't say anything at all to remod for posting it in the first place. The thesis paper was just a lucky bonus for me to use in retaliation.

RMing ain't easy, son

Why does everyone think it's perfectly fine to pull a fish out of the water with a sharp hook in its mouth?
