Why is the director writing the movie anyway? Sounds like a terrible idea.

Yeah, what an odd way to hold it.

Hmm. I was under the impression the story was already written and they were ready to begin shooting early 2018.

I dont know much about this guy's work but i dont love that Treverow is even in the picture so this could bode well?
The article mentions Colin's first draft. Unclear whether or not that draft will be scrapped entirely.

Like Sarge said, we know a big chance is Leia. Other than that....

Im sure we heard it was scrapped.
The above article that YOU posted says there has been no official word yet as to how much of Colin's script is being scrapped and how much is being totally rewritten by this new guy.

Yeah because articles such these written by people like that have been watching every bit of news coming out of Star Wars with an almost obsessive beady eye, more so than even the fans.

100% serious. Any trilogy should not have a different writer for each movie.

Yes, like GOT has different directors, but the same guys behind the overall flow of the story every episode.

Yes, the trailer was 10/10, and the one you posted was always funny as well.

I think that was all of us that day. I know I was in a heap of emotions.

Perfect opposite to the first trailer, 'and the light' then the Falcon bursting into that impossible turn to the Star Wars fanfare and jumping outta my chair cheering :)

Will we get a trailer comes near either end of the Spectrum for the last Jedi?

I wonder.

MSW have leaked two artists impressions of two potential posters they've seen and luke is in the antagonist/dark side spot on each one. They're either playing a huge misdirect game with him or he really is gone somewhere else storywise
