I'm really hoping for a lot of premature ejaculation jokes when this thing drops. Don't let me down team.

I just hope they don't shoot their Bolt and release this thing too early.

Re: No Leak Club
I had a thought just now. A Bolt out of the blue if you will. I think I might be OK with joining the No Leak Club for this release. I mean, I can wait. If I listen to a leak, then two things will happen 1) I'll hate it and be disappointed, 2) I'll love it and be disappointed I didn't wait to surprise myself by buying it in town. So yeah. I think waiting is a win-win.

I have no problem waiting for this album. I'm actually going to take a break from MYM too.

I don't think I'll do that, but only because it'll tide me over, and because I'm not going to dislike it or skip it on the album. My thoughts about it are pretty firmly fixed now.

Re: No Leak Club
so i've only considered a leak to be the studio tracks/demos coming out before the actual album is out, are the live songs they've played off limits?
i know EJ thinks so, what about you Sarge & harmless? do you consider only MYM to be allowed?

Well, actually, technically I don't think them playing it live would be off limits for the no leak club - since the band is putting it out there.elliseamos wrote:so i've only considered a leak to be the studio tracks/demos coming out before the actual album is out, are the live songs they've played off limits?

But, for my own monastic reasons, I'm not going to listen to them. I'll just stick with MYM, as it was a released single, until the album's out.

Re: No Leak Club
right. i'm not seeking anything leaked, but if the band puts it out there (live/their website) then i consider it fair game.EJ wrote:Well, actually, technically I don't think them playing it live would be off limits for the no leak club - since the band is putting it out there.elliseamos wrote:so i've only considered a leak to be the studio tracks/demos coming out before the actual album is out, are the live songs they've played off limits?

Re: No Leak Club
I think it's fine to listen to the live tracks. If any of us were at the gig, what else would we have done other than listen to the new songs? The band have always been happy for bootlegs to be made too.
To me, a leak is a song that hasn't been officially released or publicly played by the band. So these live tracks are certainly not leaks.

Re: No Leak Club
I guess you can add me to the club.. I've only heard MYM (and I didn't listen to the leak hours before).
I just have no desire to listen to the songs from Wrigley... Not because I'm not excited for the new album, I just don't want my first listen to be a live version.
Once studio tracks start to leak, that's when the challenge starts

i've listened to that leaked version of MYM since getting the official version, and you guys seem so foolish for listening to that awful rip.

Well I was at work and had to get I while I could. Make no mistake about it I can willing stay away from a leak. Re: No Leak Club
Does listening to these 2 new leaked b-sides still vibe well with my "No Leak" commitment, assuming old Avocado b-sides won't make it to the new record?
I did watch the Wrigley videos for Lightning Bolt and Future Days, but considering the sound quality and the fact that I only listened to each of them once, I still have basically no idea what those songs are going to sound like. And even MYM I've only listened to about 10 times and I've now put it on the shelf until release day.
So is it too much of a risk? What have the other Non-Leakers done with these 2 new tracks?

I've listened to these 2 tracks in the assumption they won't be on the album. They don't sound like current PJ at all, but these are likely still demos. Who knows what time & BOB could do to them...bluestate wrote:

Still haven't heard FD or LB yet.
