That's exactly it. We live in such a weird culture right now where people need to "win" at everything. I recently heard a podcast where one of the hosts basically said, "movies and tv shows aren't Escape The Room." There aren't points for being first to know. These are puzzles to solve. There are no medals to hand out. It's so goddamn stupid to me.

I'm thinking Jon has to take an L at the hands of Cersei soon. Either the Lannister's take Eastwatch or someone captures Arya. Something has to set up a quid pro quo situation between Jon and Dany where he agrees to help her fight Cersei if she then agrees to help fight the army of the dead.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

The Lannisters are stylish as fuck. Their armor and costumes are top notch.

Jaime's battle armor is the type of shit I'd grind for hours in an RPG to get. And the black outfits are super clean indeed.

I understand the white walkers are the bigger threat but if no one else believes in them and Jon has no allies, why wouldn't they attack him if they view him as an enemy for not bending the knee?

It's probably setting up something. Not sure what they could do, but the teleporting Greyjoys can probably make trouble.

Westeros is big (like South America)and Cersei has a lot of things to worry about in the south. I'm sure Littlefinger has some scheme, and hard to place Sansa in all that. However, when you are surrounded by enemies, you don't go find someone who is not attacking you. And in the north everything will go bad, if they don't keep focusing on the real problem from further north.
