He did say 'flee you fucking idiot' first though.

He doesn't love his brother but he still has some care for him.

Do we know for sure if Jon didn't bend the knee in that cave?

He mighta bent her over his knee hehe

Its could be that that Danerys and Jon Snow can only resolve the Bend the knee issue by marrying each other. But what wil Bran make of it?

I half expected them to walk out of the cave hand in hand, and announce their engagement. Dany already declared to dario that the best way to forge alliances was through marriage, i always assumed they'd use that sooner or later upon her arrival to westeros.

Also that would quickly dispense with the issue of jon having to bend the knee

It is gonna piss me off when that greyscale dude comes back to Dany and tries to get all up in her business and tell her how to do things again.

what's wrong with jorah? I think he's been a good character in the dany story...

He's the tragic hero though. Moreso than jon, imo. Jon is destined for greatness (whether he achieves greatness or not is a different story) but jorah is the eternal loser, sacrificing everything for dany and still not finding his own happiness. He seems to always be trying to redeem himself to the world, and is also dany's first true believer.

He always understood he was too old for dany, and not at all the kind of man she'd need for her own story of greatness, but it neve4 dissuades him.

Yiu guys are just cynical 21st century people. There's no creepy intention in jorah. Little finger has that down pat

Never picked up on this stuff. But awesome
Some nice nods to Robert in that episode...

"Only a fool would meet the Dothraki in an open field."

"They never tell ya how they all shít themselves. They don't put that part in the songs."

"He came running at me, this dumb highborn lad, thinking he could end the rebellion with a single swing of his sword."

Throwbacks to season 1 all over the place. Arya being stopped at the gates just like she was at King's Landing. Littlefinger's dagger coming back into play. First time we properly see Arya fighting with Needle like how she was taught with Syrio Forel. Symbols on the walls in the cave like how the White Walkers left body parts in the very first scene of the show.

It's all coming together.

Somewhere between Highgarden and King's Landing, but probably closer to King's Landing judging by the landscape.

They were just south of the Blackwater Rush, but close enough to King's Landing that the gold had already made it into the city.

If you go by this map, they were probably just coming out of the King's Wood and on the southern side of the river: http://www.sermountaingoat.co.uk/map/ve ... ve_map.jpg

i'm puzzled how thousands of dothraki just took the lanister army by surprise. don't they have scouts?

also, at first, i thought the approaching cloud and the noise that bronn heard were the white walkers.
