A retired professional wrestler. I don't follow wrestling so I had no idea who he was, but my friend was dumbstruck. Really funny dude, told great stories about his time in the industry. Had a lot of strong opinions about The Undertaker and inhaled more steak than I've ever seen a human being consume.

He'll probably turn around and blame the dog, claiming the dog seduced him.

Yeah. It's funny because what the author wrote is largely empirically true and that a company that holds itself to the absolute highest scientific standards would pretend biological determinism isn't at least partially real. (Admittedly the author used language and adjectives he should have known would distort his point).simple schoolboy wrote:Anyone else follow that "google manifesto" business?

Really just an excuse to post one of my favorite jokes:
Through the pitch-black night, the captain sees a light dead ahead on a collision course with his ship. He sends a signal: "Change your course 10 degree east."
The light signals back: "Change yours, 10 degrees west."
Angry, the captain sends: "I'm a navy captain! Change your course, sir!"
The light signals back: "Change yours, 10 degrees west."
"I'm a seaman, second class," comes the reply. "Change your course, sir."
The light signals back: "Change yours, 10 degrees west."
Now the captain is furious. "I'm a battleship! I'm not changing course!"
There is one last reply. "I'm a lighthouse"

I used to think it was conservatives who were unable to deal in nuance (the classic Santorum view of being unable to distinguish between homosexuality and bestiality) but now I'm thinking the left is just as bad. If you're not on the side of the oppressed, you are an oppressor.Bi_3 wrote:Here's a good write up free of the usual reactionary ignorance the media resorts to nowadays:bune wrote:Nope.
