Moonlander - Stone Gossard

When a band is but a fraction of Pearl Jam, but they aren't zero Pearl Jam.

yeah, beyond measure's pre-chorus is better than any verse or chorus. this one's not doing much for me.

That version of Beyond Measure is great. I was worried he tossed on the version with whats his nuts from brad singing...its more upbeat and full band...

But I like the sparse arrangement he went with to close out the reecord. Lovely.

it seems as if he slowed the album cut down too much. the original version is much better...

Thats not the original version. he released the original version (from the studio) via mp3 a few years ago as well...

Im pretty certain its the same cut...
Yeah the original cut is what we got on Moonlander.

While we're all fighting and scratching and dismissing the Lightning Bolt while we wait, I just want to remind everyone how great this is.

It's all I've listened to over the last five days. I love it. Just love it. Stone can write quirky unique shit that's still hooky as all get out. Ed should really take a class.

I don't think I've listened to the whole thing, I can't remember. I really like king of the junkies though, up until that outro anyway.

The outro is my favorite part. The verses are too "Hotel California".

It might be my least favorite song on the album.
