Yeah I don't understand why people are confused about Dorne. Their ruler was taken prisoner by the Lannisters and her heirs are dead and dying. You don't just go "welp, let's keep fighting how we were" when that happens.

Dorne is as powerful as the North. It's difficult to see in the show, but we know there is a large ruling family there. It would make sense for them to still be a factor in the war. Even if it was Dany trying to convince them to keep backing her.

Who is still in the ruling family though? They killed the king, the queen is captured and all her heirs are dead. I'd buy a power vacuum like Mecca said, but that would seriously hurt any war effort.

Did anyone else notice Sansa's reference to Ghost? When she was walking with Arya, she said something to the effect of "I told Jon that the Northern lords won't just sit around and wait for him like Ghost." I'm torn over wether I find it amusing or infuriating.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Well he controlled the ravens north of the wall. He said to send ravens because they act as carrier pigeons in westeros by delivering messages. That's how they got the message on dragonstone and at the citadel. Those ravens aren't controlled by Bran, but that could explain how a bird with no actual basis of carrying messages back to its home in the real world is the main message carrier in westeros
