I think a dragon is going to bite the dust. Dany is gonna bring her heavy hitters to help out and shit is going to hit the fan.

Gendry may be fan service but I like that he added even more depth to Davos and that alone makes it okay by me.

I do like the Baratheons and Starks teaming up again. Hopefully it won't be a brief team up.

Dorne is as powerful as the North. It's difficult to see in the show, but we know there is a large ruling family there. It would make sense for them to still be a factor in the war. Even if it was Dany trying to convince them to keep backing her.
Who is still in the ruling family though? They killed the king, the queen is captured and all her heirs are dead. I'd buy a power vacuum like Mecca said, but that would seriously hurt any war effort.

In the show I don't believe they've established who is next in line.

why did bran have to warg into so many damn ravens to scout north of eastwatch? wouldn't, like 2 or 3 been enough (you know, a couple of extras just for good measure)? it's not like they were all scattered so they could cover more ground.

Maybe the others felt left out and wanted to come along.

Maybe he only warged into one of those ravens.

Why did he ask that they send ravens? Was the first only a memory/vision?

So you mean that he sent the ravens to people with messages? Makes sense. I thought he was sending more ravens north of the wall. I just misunderstood it. Thank you.

Speaking of the previews, I couldn't help but notice that
Spoiler: show
there is a brief shot of the Hound wielding Gendry's warhammer. That doesn't auger well for the blacksmith.

Did anyone else notice Sansa's reference to Ghost? When she was walking with Arya, she said something to the effect of "I told Jon that the Northern lords won't just sit around and wait for him like Ghost." I'm torn over wether I find it amusing or infuriating.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Apologies if this has already been posted, but apparently they cut a Ghost scene earlier this season:

Yeah, knowing a scene was cut from earlier in the season, the line didn't bother me.

Well he controlled the ravens north of the wall. He said to send ravens because they act as carrier pigeons in westeros by delivering messages. That's how they got the message on dragonstone and at the citadel. Those ravens aren't controlled by Bran, but that could explain how a bird with no actual basis of carrying messages back to its home in the real world is the main message carrier in westeros
