Birth Ritual is nothing special, but Said Sadly is even less.

Birth Ritual is one of my least favorite Soundgarden songs. I don't really know why.

I think I've nailed what I don't like about it. The high note that Cornell hits on the word Ritual just doesn't jibe with me. It's like a dog whistle that gets inside my skull. The song builds up to it over and over again, I brace myself for it thinking that I can bear it this time around, the band gets closer and closer, I close my eyes, then...RITUUAAALLLL. oof.

I pretty much agree with this. I'm not a big fan either. But it's still better than a song that I can't hear.

Said sadly may be the worst song ever... The Crow is among the Ritual haters and even she thinks it's no contest here. Two rm'ers must be on crack!
