Isn't it another spoken word track ala I'm Open?

This was apparently included on the Japan release of Lost Dogs.

Gremmie net had/has it too, IIRC.

If I remember correctly, it was the hidden track on a promo, early-release edition of LD and was only later replaced by 4/20/02. None of the Discogs listings have it as part of the release.

I hate I'm Open, but this little narrative hit me pretty hard today. Been an emotional day and I've never heard it, and... well... I've been there.

I'm Open is alright. I don't get the hate for it.

Yeah I am really not a fan of this. Pretty cheesy poetry, particularly the very end. "Never been too good at happy endings".

He's trying his best to sound earnest, but really doesn't. I think that's why these PJ tracks don't work that well for me.

Jim Morrison did these a little better.

True, but I think ed is a good storyteller, and it really struck a chord with me, being the first time I've heard it. Would I want to listen to it more than a handful of times ever? Probably not. Lets just chalk it up to good timing and a vulnerable moment.

I loved it. Was the soundtrack to my early 20's actually.

Special place in my heart. The music is hypnotic and i think its heartbreaking.

Were you a Hovercraft fan at all?
Not really, but I did see them at a club once. Is that the background noise, I suppose? The set had moments of swell crescendos, but overall I thought it sucked.
