My first concert was Huey Lewis and the News in 1988. I was 5.
My first concert that I didn't have to leave early because of bedtime was The Smashing Pumpkins in 1996.

Mine is deeply embarrassing but I'd imagine pretty common for Australians of a certain vintage: silverchair in 1996 supported by the Mark of Cain and the Superjesus.
At least the Mark of Cain redeem the experience to some extent.

Almost went to the Frogstomp tour. My best mate did - said it was pretty much like going to a high school disco with the age of most of the others who went.Birds in Hell wrote:Mine is deeply embarrassing but I'd imagine pretty common for Australians of a certain vintage: silverchair in 1996 supported by the Mark of Cain and the Superjesus.

My first concert was R.E.M. / Grant Lee Buffalo / Crowded House on R.E.M.'s Monster tour. Fuck I hate Crowded House and all things Neil Finn
