"Are you an angel?"
"Yes Homer I'm an angel. All us angels wear Farah slacks."

As far as I'm concerned, seasons 3-9 are some of the best comedy in the history of television. I haven't seen a new episode in ages.
Sorry I'm late to the game here but I definitely agree, except I would say seasons 2-9 instead. Some of the satire ever aired on TV, and to this day remains timeless.

But yeah I also haven't seen a new episode in over 10 years, as far as I'm concerned it's a totally different show now,

Homer: So how was jerk practice, boy? Did they teach you how to sing to trees, or build crappy furniture out of useless wooden logs? Huh? (chair falls apart on him) D'oh! Stupid poetic justice…
Bart: Actually, we were just planning the father-son river rafting trip…
Homer: (chuckles) You don't have a son.

Doug, I haven't watched the Simpsons in a long time. I'm thinking about breaking out the old dvd collection. Wish me luck.

Oh me either. I don't really acknowledge that any from the last 10 years exists.

I have dvd's of seasons 2-9 (I think). I used to watch them frequently. I even watched a lot of episodes with the commentary on. Pretty entertaining stuff.
